The South-Ossetian and Abkhazian representatives broke off the work of the meeting in Geneva. As informed representatives of South Ossetia from Geneva “in connection with the fact that one of the meetings did not mean the participation of South Ossetia and Abkhazia, Russian representatives refused to take part in it either”.

Right now the editorship of our site received information that two peaceful residents of the village Korkula of Tskhinval district of the Republic of South Ossetia, directing to Tskhinval, were detained by the Georgian police in the village Ditsi of the Gori district of Georgia via which lies the road from Korkula to Tskhinval.

The main purpose of their arrival was signing the Memorandum “About Friendship and Cooperation between the Republic of South Ossetia and the Chelyabinsk district”.
