Interior Minister of South Ossetia and Mayor of Tskhinval are rewarded with medals of the Emergency Ministry of Russia

According to a special decree of Sergei Shoigu the Ministry on Issues of Civil Defense and Emergencies of the Russian Federation awarded representatives of the executive powers of the RSO.

Ten medals for “successful implementation of measures on assisting humanitarian help to the population of South Ossetia and displayed high professionalism and responsibility” were handed over on October 14 to the representatives of the Emergency Ministry of Russia in Tskhinval.

Among the rewarded people are – Chairman of the KGB RSO General-Lieutenant Boris Attoev, Interior Minister of the RSO Mikhail Mindzaev, Commander of the Special Detachment of Quick Reaction of the RSO, Lieutenant Colonel Soslan Tedeev, Head of the Tskhinval Administration Robert Guliev, acting as Minister of Education of the RSO Zamira Djioeva etc.

“When the Emergency Ministry of Russia arrived in South Ossetia people who are being awarded today proved themselves. We saw how they tired to help their people and together with us rehabilitate life in the Republic”, underlined the First Deputy Head of the Southern regional center of the Emergency Ministry of Russia Major-General Nikolai Litjuk.
