Citizens of South Ossetia kidnapped by the Georgian police are in Tblisi

Citizens of South Ossetia detained by the Georgian police are in the Gldan investigatory isolator in Tbilisi.

All those people were detained by the Georgian police since 8 to 13 October.

According to the Plenipotentiary Representative on Human Rights by the President of the RSO David Sanakoev, “at present we know about 11 citizens of the RSO which were kidnapped by the Georgian police. Their names and places of kidnapping have already been ascertained. These are Ibragim Laliev, born in 1974, Lavrenty Kaziev, 1974, Goleri Toroshelidze, Avtandil Kelehsaev, which were kidnapped on the way to the village Artsev (on the sector where the road passes via the Georgian territory). Shota Sanakoev and Totrbek Bekoev were stolen near the village Nikozi. Pavlik Tekhov was stolen close to the Osset village Korkula. Alan Khatchirov, 1992, Alan Khugaev, 1989, and Soltan Pliev were taken by the Georgian police from the road-sector between Ditsi and Eredvi”.

David Sanakoev stressed that the list also includes three young people stolen near the village Artsevi on October 13, their fate became known only on October 18.
